Acertys in the Netherlands
Acertys Netherlands has a long history and goes back for more than 60 years.
The former Almedi from Doorn, specialized in BHV articles and Mevra from Bodegraven, who had experience in Emergency Aid, merged in 1995.
Under the name "Vandeputte Medical", this business became one of the biggest players in the Netherlands.
In 2007 the family sold her interest to GIMV, a Belgian investment company, and the company was rebranded to Acertys.
In 2008 Acertys overtook the company Gouwe Instruments. With this a solid foundation was lain to strengthen the market’s share in the hospital market segment.
In 2010 Acertys overtook the company FHM in Veenendaal. The hospital activities of Acertys Netherlands will be transferred to FMH. This means Acertys BV can focus completely on BHV articels and emergency equipment.
With over 50 employees Acertys makes every effort to maintain her key roll and to expand even further.
